Apr 22nd: The Sewers/Dog Eats Dog

Before things get really worse, Valjean absconds from the battlefield with Marius and retreats into the sewers. Meanwhile, Thenardier is down on the mud collecting the spoils from the bodies of the dead.

Together, they fight cri-- I mean, Valjean gets a safe way out of the sewers for a small price of some bribery from the possessions of Marius(who is at the brink of death, btw)
