A two-in-one birthday gift/story illustration for ~animal-delos referring to this story: [link] and the ToRL series as a whole.
Why nightmare is portrayed as a blindfolded woman involved in shadows on the background? Well, that will be addressed someday in the story itself, so I won't dwell further here now. Also... okay, airbrushing does not color well in a hurry... I'll either switch to paintbrush or take more time in the coloring in the future... |

Temporarily signature-less...
im sorry ot ask, but im really confused, bec oyu have the same draw style liek from leilas table( the more opne mind used "ink lines") and the water brush colours, so is it the case you use the same tools and yo uboth share them?
or is it only a coincedence and i do create complot theories?
greetings, bnlm
Actually, I bought my first tablet first, then it broke and I had to get another one. I actually pointed Leila to buy on the same place I did(the price was nice and the delivery took two days only) and also gave her some tips. I started using airbrush cause it worked on another drawig of mine, but then I found out my(and Leila's) usual technique of shading doesn't work very well on scarce airrushing. I'm trying to improve it on my next drawing...
But yeah, there is some part of coincidence and some part of not such stuff.

its a good start for airbrushing but, in some parts it look like you missed places, maybe you could color it with a stolid tone and then used the airbrush to add lighting. the hair on Chad looks good though.
on the lines, they look pretty good. one thing is the ear still looks a little too low on the girl, which adds more to the forehead. also her cafe is too long, the cafe and thigh should be about the same length.
otherwise, good work, I like the image in the center, its a good counter to the other two.

So, yes, airbrushing revealed itself not a good tool for coloring, but awesome for shading. I'll try a last application of airbrushing on coloring on my colored version "The Game - Wonderful World", making an extra effort on filling the blatantly blank parts.
Ears, again. I really must brace myself on that part...
And again I admit I'm not an especialist in anatomy. I really gotta practice.
Thanks a lot, and keep coming by.

But you might feel proud knowing that in my most recent strip I forced myself to redraw the only ear to appear in it. I think we're making some progress here!
